RESCENE Tops theqoo's Power People Poll With 24 Votes, Ahead of ATEEZ and BTS

A theqoo poll on the year's "power people" put RESCENE first with 24 votes, and the fourth-place name is what had commenters typing in disbelief: Lee Soo-man, with 12.

The ranking is a community vote, not an industry chart, so read it as mood rather than measurement. Still, the order is odd enough to notice.

The full ranking

ATEEZ came second with 17 votes and Park Ji-hoon third with 16. Lee Soo-man took fourth with 12, and BTS landed fifth with 11. G-Dragon followed with 7.

Yoo Jaesuk and Jang Hangjun tied for seventh at 6 each. Jang Wonyoung was ninth with 5, and Yoo Haejin and Byeon Wooseok tied for tenth at 4 each. Jennie and Park Jinyoung tied for twelfth with 3 apiece.

Seven names tied at 2 votes in fourteenth: Kim Jiwon, Lee Chang-dong, Heo Nam-jun, Kim Seonho, ATEEZ's Choi San, BIGBANG and Moon Sang-min. SEVENTEEN more got a single vote each, including PLAVE, CORTIS, Karina, RM, RESCENE's Woni and i-dle's Jeon Soyeon.

Note the overlap: RESCENE and ATEEZ also had members pulled out for individual votes. Both groups are the story of the list, and neither comes from a big-four agency.
