'THIS & THAT' Debuts on UK Singles Chart, Giving Stray Kids Their 8th Official Chart Entry
Stray Kids debuted 'THIS & THAT' at No. 61 on the UK Official Singles Chart this week, marking their eighth song to enter the Top 100. The accompanying mini-album also landed at No. 80 on the Albums Chart, and a ninth consecutive Billboard 200 number one looks almost certain.

Stray Kids have now placed eight separate songs on the UK Official Singles Chart, with their new title track 'THIS & THAT' debuting at No. 61 in the chart dated August 14–20. The accompanying mini-album of the same name entered the Albums Chart Top 100 at No. 80 in the same frame, giving the group a double-chart debut in the UK for the latest release.
The singles milestone has been building steadily over several years. 'MANIAC' got the first entry, followed by 'S-Class', 'LALALALA' (which peaked at No. 44, their highest single placement to date), the Charlie Puth-assisted 'Lose My Breath', 'Chk Chk Boom' (No. 30), 'CEREMONY' (No. 37), and 'DO IT' (No. 35). 'THIS & THAT' at No. 61 is a debut figure, so there's room to climb as streaming accumulates through the week.

On the albums side, the tally is equally consistent. Eight Stray Kids releases have now appeared in the UK Albums Chart Top 100: 5-Star, Rock-Star, MAXIDENT, ODDINARY, ATE, HOP, KARMA (their highest at No. 22), and now THIS & THAT at No. 80. The variety of chart positions across those eight entries points to a fanbase that buys in reliably regardless of format.
THIS & THAT as an album is built around a particular mood: self-assured and unhurried, with the group leaning into a cooler, more relaxed sonic territory than some of their heavier recent work. The title track reflects that, carrying a calm confidence rather than the high-energy bombast SKZ fans might expect from a comeback lead single. It's a deliberate choice, and the chart numbers suggest it's landing.
The bigger number hovering over the release is the first-week sales figure: THIS & THAT has already crossed 3 million copies sold in its opening week. That figure makes a ninth consecutive Billboard 200 number one look close to certain. If it happens, Stray Kids will extend their own record as the K-pop group with the most consecutive top positions on that chart.

Elsewhere in this week's UK chart roundup, KATSEYE's 'ANIMAL' climbed two spots to No. 16 on the Singles Chart, now three weeks running in the Top 100. The HYBE group's collaboration with LE SSERAFIM and ILLIT, 'ICONIC BY MISTAKE', held at No. 93 for its ninth consecutive week. The Huntrix track 'GOLDEN' from the Netflix animated film K-Pop Demon Hunters reversed course this week, moving up four places to No. 45 after 60 weeks on the chart. BTS's fifth studio album ARIRANG remained at No. 59 on the Albums Chart, completing 21 straight weeks in the Top 100 after previously reaching No. 1.
