Stray Kids made waves last weekend as they held their highly anticipated concerts at the Tokyo National Stadium from August 29 to 30, gathering an astonishing 140,000 fans over two days. This marks a historic moment, as they become the first overseas male artist to perform a solo concert at this iconic venue, according to a statement by their agency, JYP Entertainment.

The group not only sold out each concert but also achieved full attendance for their upcoming shows across Japan, including performances at venues like the Banterin Dome in Nagoya, Kyocera Dome in Osaka, and Mizuhō PayPay Dome in Fukuoka, totaling seven concerts across four locations.

During the Tokyo shows, Stray Kids showcased a mix of their most beloved tracks like God's Menu, MANIAC, and Hellevator, along with new songs from their repertoire. The live experience was enhanced by a paid livestream on August 30, bringing the total audience count to 175,000 fans, both in-person and online.

The members expressed their gratitude through heartfelt comments, stating, “It was undoubtedly a memorable day. Thank you all for completing such a spectacular sight that made us question our eyes.”

Exciting updates for fans

Looking ahead, Stray Kids announced the release of their fourth mini-album titled SUIATSU on November 25. With confidence in their next project, they assured fans that they are committed to delivering the best possible work in their future releases.

In a delightful surprise, they also revealed plans for three concerts at the Tokyo Dome scheduled for November 6 to 8. This leg of their tour will see them meeting an estimated 520,000 audience members in Japan alone.

Stray Kids continues to break records as they achieved a remarkable feat earlier in August, with their mini-album This & That landing consecutively at number one on the Billboard 200, making them one of the most successful groups of the 21st century.
