She is set to appear in the Disney+ series Hyeonhok later this year, and separately, she has been cast in the Netflix original Men of the Harem, in which she plays Rathil, empress of the Tarium Empire. The project is based on a popular web novel and follows a female ruler who takes male consorts to secure her throne: a court romance fantasy with a premise that inverts the genre's usual power dynamics.

Between two platform originals and a styling turn that reads noticeably more mature than her earlier public appearances, Suzy is clearly building toward something. The white dress was the quietest version of that signal.
