Suzy Steps Out in White at Anua PDRN Popup Before Two Major Drama Roles
Suzy appeared at the Anua PDRN line popup at Olive Young N Seongsu on the 18th in a waist-cinched white dress and sleek updo that drew as much attention as the skincare launch itself. She has two major drama projects on the horizon, including a Netflix fantasy series.

Suzy arrived at the Anua PDRN line popup event at Olive Young N Seongsu in Seoul's Seongdong district on the 18th, and the styling did most of the talking. A sleek all-back updo, a structured white dress with a defined waist and full skirt, black stockings, and open-toe slingback heels: the overall read was classical and restrained, the kind of look that photographs well in autumn light and requires very little explanation.

The dress's construction is worth noting. A fitted bodice paired with volume at the waist and a skirt that flares outward created a distinctly feminine silhouette, and the waist emphasis in particular translated cleanly to the pop-up's outdoor photo call. The updo, swept back without a strand loose, evoked something older and more formal than her usual press-tour style. One reference point that came to mind: the neat chignon she wore in the period film Dorihwaga, though here the effect reads less historical and more deliberately polished.

The brand she was representing is Anua, a skincare label under The Founders that has developed a following in the K-beauty market for its ingredient-forward formulations. The popup, held at Olive Young's flagship N Seongsu location, was pegged to the launch of Anua's PDRN line, a range built around polynucleotide technology, which has become one of the more discussed active ingredients in Korean skincare over the past couple of years.

What's next for Suzy
Suzy's schedule gives her appearance some additional context. She is set to appear in the Disney+ series Hyeonhok later this year, and separately, she has been cast in the Netflix original Men of the Harem, in which she plays Rathil, empress of the Tarium Empire. The project is based on a popular web novel and follows a female ruler who takes male consorts to secure her throne: a court romance fantasy with a premise that inverts the genre's usual power dynamics.

Between two platform originals and a styling turn that reads noticeably more mature than her earlier public appearances, Suzy is clearly building toward something. The white dress was the quietest version of that signal.
