TAEMIN reveals his evening routines and the anxiety that comes with them
TAEMIN shares details of his daily life, from working out to late-night meals, while also opening up about feelings of anxiety during quiet moments. His candid reflections resonate with fans looking for a deeper connection with the SHINee member.
Daily life revelations
SHINee's TAEMIN recently opened up about his daily routines during a guest appearance on the YouTube channel Yu In Radio 3, airing on September 9. With a written schedule in hand, he shared insights into how he spends his downtime, adding a personal touch that fans dearly appreciate.
"I eat for a long time, often for over an hour," TAEMIN revealed. When he has no scheduled activities, he prefers to stay at home, stating, "People say I look bored, but I'm actually very busy. There's so much to do at home." He also mentioned that he works out with a personal trainer on his days off and typically orders takeout for dinner.

Moments of reflection
The conversation shifted when the host, Yu In-na, asked TAEMIN about a note on his schedule that read 'depressed mode' for the evening hours. "During this time, I often feel anxious, wondering if I'm living my day right," he admitted. Interestingly, he finds this period to be rich with inspiration, often jotting down creative ideas and saving images that resonate with him.
"After completing everything I need to do, I like to watch short videos," he added, indicating a casual way to unwind at the end of the day.
Sleep and eating habits
In a light-hearted moment, TAEMIN shared his bedtime routine, stating, "I usually sleep around 1 a.m. and wake up at 10 a.m. If I sleep less than seven hours, it affects my condition throughout the day; I can feel it in my body." As for meals, he tends to have his first one around 10 or 11 a.m., focusing on healthy dishes as he's recently begun a dieting regimen. "I've been having grilled fish, such as salmon, and sometimes I make Aglio e Olio," he said.
TAEMIN's candid reflections provide fans with a relatable glimpse into his life, pushing the usual idol narrative to one that is heartfelt and genuine. His openness about anxiety and personal routines makes him not just an entertainer, but also someone many can connect with on a deeper level.
