SEVENTEEN's Jeonghan x Joshua Sell 650,000 in One Day, Breaking a Unit Record

SEVENTEEN's Jeonghan x Joshua sold more than 650,000 copies of their debut mini album DREAMSCAPE on its first day, the highest day-one figure ever recorded for a K-pop unit album. The number clears the 600,000-copy mark set last year by fellow SEVENTEEN unit S.Coups x Mingyu.

According to Hanteo Chart, the album finished its first week (the 19th to the 25th) at 804,949 copies, enough to take No. 1 on the weekly album chart. Fans have been watching the pair's solo-unit moment build for weeks, and the opening-week total puts the project well past the 800,000 line.

Strong showing beyond Korea

The results were not limited to the domestic chart. On Japan's Oricon Daily Album Ranking, DREAMSCAPE took No. 1 for two straight days (the 20th and 21st issues), and it also topped Japan's LINE MUSIC Album TOP 100.

In China, the album ranked first on QQ Music's Digital Best Seller Album chart. The title track "12 o'clock" landed at No. 34 on the Worldwide iTunes Song chart.

A concept built around dreams

DREAMSCAPE explores a dream realm where one dream interlocks with another, tracing the point where unconscious fantasy crosses with the ideals of reality. The album holds seven tracks, including "12 o'clock."

The duo's next step is live. Jeonghan x Joshua open their tour JOURNEY INTO DREAMING at Inspire Arena in Incheon, with shows running from the 30th through November 1. Given how quickly the album sold, those first dates will be an early look at how the demand translates to the arena floor.
