OMONAR

Tiger JK and Yoon Mirae are releasing a new duet, Let Me Love You, on August 20, their first collaboration as vocalists in nearly eight years, since I Love You Too dropped in November 2018. The announcement came from their label Feelgood Music on August 18.

The couple co-wrote and co-composed Let Me Love You together, which feels significant given how much ground each of them covers individually. Yoon Mirae is widely considered one of the finest vocalists in Korean hip-hop history, and Tiger JK is a foundational figure in the genre itself, so hearing them choose to make something new together, and to write it themselves, carries a different kind of weight than a typical collab announcement.

Thematically, the song explores the feeling of rediscovering someone you've been beside for a long time, that quiet, unexpected flutter when a familiar person suddenly feels new again. It's a love song about long-term love, which makes the real-life couple dynamic genuinely interesting rather than just a marketing hook.

Feelingood Music noted that the track represents a conscious departure from the R&B and hip-hop frameworks the two have worked within throughout their careers. Details about the specific sound direction are still limited ahead of the release, but the label framed the genre shift as something both artists actively sought out for this project.

To mark the release, Tiger JK and Yoon Mirae are also opening a pop-up store and are set to perform at Waterbomb, the popular summer music festival known for its high-energy outdoor stages. The festival appearance should give fans their first live look at how Let Me Love You translates as a performance, which is its own moment worth watching for.
