Someone Paid to Insult Chaeyoung's Tattoos on Bubble. She Had 3 Words Back.
TWICE's Chaeyoung shut down a troll who mocked her tattoos on her paid Bubble fan platform, revealing she got her first one with her mother. She said she replied to embarrass the commenter.

Someone actually paid a Bubble subscription fee to tell TWICE's Chaeyoung that her tattoos looked like "trash scribbles on her body", and she answered them directly.

The exchange happened on September 30, when Chaeyoung was chatting with fans through her paid fan communication platform. A user sent a message along the lines of feeling bad for her mother seeing her "pretty daughter" cover herself in what they called meaningless ink. Chaeyoung's response was short and pointed: she said she and her mom went together to get her first tattoo.
When another fan jumped in saying she shouldn't have bothered replying to someone like that, Chaeyoung explained her logic. "I replied to make them feel embarrassed," she wrote. She also added that she's heard this kind of criticism so many times it barely registers anymore. "I'm fine. I've heard this so often now that it doesn't affect me."
The fact that the troll was a paying Bubble subscriber, not a random anonymous commenter, wasn't lost on fans reacting to the exchange online. Several pointed out the sheer effort involved: paying a monthly fee specifically to leave a rude comment on a platform built for artist-fan connection.
More than just the tattoo fight
Chaeyoung has been in the middle of a few headline moments lately. Back in August, indoor smoking allegations surfaced after footage circulated online. She denied them through her fan platform, explaining that the clip showed her drinking a beverage, not smoking.

Also in August, she announced she was leaving JYP Entertainment to pursue her independent music project, LIL FANTASY, while making clear she would continue as a TWICE member. The dual path, group activities plus a fully independent solo lane, is a relatively unusual setup in K-pop, where most solo ventures still run through the main agency.
Chaeyoung debuted with TWICE in 2015 at 15 years old and has been part of the group's run of hits ever since. The tattoo clap-back is, in its own small way, consistent with how she's been handling public scrutiny lately: directly, briefly, and without much drama.
