TWS's CALL MY NAME Jumps 61 Spots on Melon in Five Hours

TWS's new title track "CALL MY NAME" entered Melon's Top 100 at No. 75 at 7 p.m. on the 2nd, then climbed 61 places in five hours to sit at No. 14 as of midnight on the 3rd. It is the group's best first-day placement on that chart, and the single album TO US also opened with 634,871 copies sold on release day, according to Hanteo Chart, taking No. 1 on the daily album chart.

The rest of the tracklist is getting attention too. "WE UP" and "heavy" both appear on Melon's Top 100 alongside the title track, and "CALL MY NAME" also charted in real time on Bugs and Genie. Beyond Korea, it ranked No. 6 on Instagram's rising audio chart and No. 12 on Japan's LINE MUSIC real-time Song Top 100 as of midnight on the 3rd.

A youth anthem built around the fandom

The agency describes "CALL MY NAME" as TWS's own kind of youth anthem, about finding courage because someone believes in you. Young-jae, Shinyu and Do-hoon took part in writing the lyrics, aiming to put their sincerity toward their fandom, 42, and toward the stage into words. A graceful piano line meets a racing rhythm, and the pairing pushes the song's swelling emotion higher as it goes.

TWS (Shinyu, Do-hoon, Young-jae, Han-jin, Ji-hoon and Kyung-min) will unveil the full performance for the first time on the 3rd at 8 p.m. through Mnet Digital Studio M2's Studio Choom.
