VIVIZ Members Sign With언코어 But May Never Use the Name VIVIZ Again
The three VIVIZ members have signed with new agency Uncor, but talks with former label Big Planet Made over the VIVIZ name have stalled. A rebrand may be coming.

The three members of VIVIZ, Eunha, SinB, and Umji, have signed exclusive contracts with a new agency called Uncor, the company confirmed on the 5th. They'll be working together. Whether anyone will be calling them VIVIZ is a different question entirely.
Uncor released a statement promising to "fully support the three artists who have shown solid teamwork over a long period of time, so that they can continue to actively promote together as a team." That part is settled. The name is not.

The name dispute
Negotiations with their former label, Big Planet Made Entertainment, over the right to keep using the VIVIZ name have hit a wall. Uncor said talks are ongoing but that the two sides "have not yet reached a final agreement due to differences over the conditions presented." Rather than wait out the dispute, the agency is already weighing a new group name, citing the priority of a "swift and stable" return to activity.
The timeline of how the group ended up here matters. Eunha, SinB, and Umji notified Big Planet Made in March that they were terminating their contracts, citing unpaid settlements and failures in management support. By June, a Seoul court had sided with the three in a preliminary injunction ruling, finding that the label had in fact failed to pay what was owed. That court win cleared the way for them to sign elsewhere, it did not settle who owns the name.

From GFRIEND to VIVIZ to whatever comes next
For fans who have followed this trio since the beginning, the arc is long. All three debuted in 2015 as part of the six-member group GFRIEND, which built a devoted following on the back of hits like "Me Gustas Tu," "Glass Bead," and "You and I" before disbanding in 2021 when their then-label Source Music did not renew contracts. They came back in March 2022 as the three-piece VIVIZ under Big Planet Made, releasing BOP BOP! and MANIAC and keeping the fanbase largely intact.
Now, four years after that regroup, they're doing it again, new agency, potentially new name, same three people. Uncor also manages the group Close Your Eyes. A timeline for the new group's debut announcement has not been released.
