ALLDAY PROJECT's Youngseo Steps Out Alone as My Guilty Man Part 1 Singer

ALLDAY PROJECT's Youngseo will release DARKROOM, her first solo track, on the 20th at 6 p.m. KST. The song is Part 1 of the original soundtrack for tvN's new Monday-Tuesday drama My Guilty Man (나의 유죄인간), which premieres on the 19th at 8:50 p.m.

OST producer STONE MUSIC confirmed the schedule on the 19th. Being the first name on a soundtrack is a notable slot: the opening release is the one that gets the drama's early viewers searching for the singer.

What the song is about

According to the production company, DARKROOM draws on the subtle emotions inside relationships stained by lies, and plays them out like a scene from a noir film. It appears in the drama during the stretch in which the character Jaehee (played by Seol In-ah) prepares in earnest to become a male-disguised personal assistant.

What to watch

Youngseo is a member of the co-ed group ALLDAY PROJECT, and this is her first release under her own name. The source gives no streaming numbers yet, so the early indicator will be where the track lands on Korean charts in its first days. A drama OST released the day after a premiere benefits from episode exposure, so the early returns should show quickly. Expect the song's chart position to track the drama's ratings over its first week.
