BLACKPINK's Jisoo told her camera she eats "a ton of fruit," and an airport lounge promptly tested that claim with a whole chunk of melon. The moment comes early in the latest upload on her YouTube channel JISOO (967만 subscribers, or 9.67 million), posted on the 18th, which follows five days of travel between London and Paris.

Jisoo had expected the melon to arrive sliced. When a big, unsplit piece landed in front of her instead, her face dropped for a second, and then she laughed and took a large bite anyway. She kept giggling as she ate. Kiwi and dragon fruit followed, and after trying the dragon fruit she asked the camera whether it tastes like nothing at all.

A Dior show look and a hotel pool

The Paris leg includes the Dior fashion show, where Jisoo wore a white blouse with a pink pleated miniskirt. The look was playful and light, a clean contrast with the more formal outfits usually seen at fashion week.

Outside the show, the vlog keeps things relaxed. At the hotel pool in Paris she admitted she isn't a strong swimmer but had come to swim regardless, then announced she would try the backstroke. A sauna session followed.

Food runs through the whole trip. On the final morning, before an early shoot, she cheered "Breakfast!" at the sight of the bread laid out for her. After finishing makeup, she returned to the hotel and went straight for snacks, a small detail that makes a packed schedule feel lived-in.

What the research says about fruit and fullness

Korean outlet Newsis used the fruit moment to note some general health context. The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says the water and fiber in fruits and vegetables can help people feel full and reduce hunger.

Newsis also cited a 2009 Pennsylvania State University study of 58 adults, published in the journal Appetite. Participants who ate a whole apple before lunch took in 15% fewer total calories (apple plus meal) than when they skipped it. Eating fruit whole rather than as juice keeps the fiber intact, which helps with fullness.
