BOYNEXTDOOR crossed 1 billion cumulative streams on Spotify on August 3, reaching exactly 1,001,140,000 plays across every track they have released since debuting in 2023. The figure combines streams from their five mini-albums and one full-length studio album.

The streaming milestone is harder to separate from their Billboard 200 performance than it might look at first. Each of the six albums the group has released has charted on the main U.S. album chart: WHY.. (No. 162), HOW? (No. 93), 19.99 (No. 40), No Genre (No. 62), The Action (No. 40), and their debut full-length HOME, which reached No. 16 earlier this year. According to KOZ Entertainment, BOYNEXTDOOR is the only boy group that debuted within the past five years to chart six consecutive albums on the Billboard 200. That kind of sustained chart presence tends to build catalog streams over time rather than concentrating them around a single release cycle.

The geographic spread of their listenership backs that up. Spotify data from the 28 days leading up to the announcement shows consistent listener inflow from the United States, Japan, Indonesia, South Korea, Mexico, Brazil, and Taiwan, a mix that suggests the audience is not clustered in any single market.

The group is not slowing into the second half of the year. Their second Japanese digital single, Boom Boom Boom, drops on August 18, and a repackaged edition of HOME is scheduled for release in South Korea on September 28. Sitting around those releases is their first world tour, BOYNEXTDOOR TOUR 'KNOCK ON Vol.2', which takes them through six cities in Japan, ten in North America, and six across Asia. For a group three years into their career, the itinerary reads less like a debut tour and more like a second chapter.
