The English-language music video for 'NORMAL' also premiered on July 17, initially exclusively on Spotify. It becomes available on YouTube and other platforms on July 19. The video takes a deliberately unglamorous angle on what it means to be BTS: members are shown singing under streams of water, lying with bruised faces, moving through cluttered, post-party rooms the morning after. The visual contrast between the wreckage of spectacle and the quiet vulnerability of the people left in it is the point. 'NORMAL' is an alternative pop track that sits with the emptiness and fear that can exist behind a spotlight rather than against it. Producer Ryan Tedder co-wrote the song, and the production leans into a conversational, soft singing-rap cadence that keeps the arrangement from ever feeling overwrought. The timing of this release is deliberate. On July 19 (local time), BTS headlines the halftime show at the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final at New York/New Jersey Stadium.
