CORTIS' 'REDRED' Just Set a New K-Pop Record With 70 Spotify Number Ones in Korea

CORTIS have broken a new streaming record in Korea, with their hit 'REDRED' reaching its 70th number one on Spotify's Daily Top Songs Korea chart. The milestone makes it the single most number-one charting song by a K-pop group on the platform. The group is set to kick off their first solo tour later this week.

CORTIS have rewritten the record books, again. Their track REDRED, the lead single from their second mini-album GREENGREEN, claimed its 70th number one on Spotify's Daily Top Songs Korea chart as of July 12, becoming the most number-one charting song by a K-pop group on that chart with a single track. Big Hit Music confirmed the milestone on July 14.

The run started on April 27, when REDRED first topped the daily chart. By June 20, it had already crossed 50 number ones, setting a new record specifically for boy groups at the time. The fact that it has since added another 20 chart-topping days, without a new release to push it back up, says a lot about how deeply the song has embedded itself into everyday listening habits in Korea.

Spotify wasn't the only platform paying attention. REDRED also spent two consecutive weeks at the top of Melon's weekly chart, from May 18 through May 31. Melon is one of Korea's dominant music streaming platforms, and CØRTS are the only boy group to have topped its weekly chart at any point in the first half of 2026, a distinction that puts them in notably rare company.

For a group still building out their catalog, REDRED has done an unusual amount of heavy lifting. The song's staying power on both platforms points to a track that connected not just with fans but with casual listeners who kept coming back to it, the kind of broad, sustained engagement that's harder to manufacture than a single-week debut spike.

CORTIS will take that momentum into their first-ever solo tour, PUT YOUR PHONE DOWN, which opens on July 18 and 19 at Inspire Arena in Incheon. The two-night run marks a significant step for the group, and with REDRED still active on the charts, the timing couldn't be better.
