CORTIS Kicks Off Their First World Tour Less Than a Year After Debut

CORTIS opens their first-ever concert tour this weekend at Inspire Arena in Incheon, with 14 shows across 9 cities in North America and Japan still ahead. The group arrives with serious momentum: their mini-album GREENGREEN sold 2.31 million copies in its first week, and title track 'REDRED' topped domestic streaming charts at a pace rarely seen from a group this new.

CORTIS opens their debut tour tomorrow, July 18, at Inspire Arena on Incheon's Yeongjong Island, launching a 14-show run across 9 cities that will take the group through North America and Japan before the year is out. The tour is called PUT YOUR PHONE DOWN, and the name is not a gimmick: the members mean it literally.

Member James put it plainly in a statement through Big Hit Music. "Taking photos and videos to capture the moment is great, but staring at a screen can make you miss something real and irreplaceable," he said. "If you fully immerse yourself in the atmosphere, taking it in with your eyes and feeling it in your body, won't that become a more beautiful memory later? We'll give everything we have to make it an unforgettable night." Member Martin framed the tour title as a philosophy: "'Put your phone down' means living in the present. We want the audience focused on the stage, not their screens. Watch this tour and you'll get a clear picture of the kind of stages CORTIS wants to build."

The group earns the confidence. Their mini-album GREENGREEN, released in May, moved 2.31 million copies in its first week. Title track 'REDRED' climbed to the top of domestic streaming charts, an outcome that is genuinely unusual for a boy group not yet a year into its career, and it became one of the standout hits of spring 2025. On Spotify, CORTIS has accumulated more than 900 million cumulative streams, with 'REDRED' setting a record for the most weeks at number one on Korea's Spotify K-pop group chart.

Member Juhoon acknowledged the speed of it all. "It hasn't even been a year since we debuted, and we're already able to do a solo concert with our fans filling the venue," he said. "I'm genuinely grateful. I'll make sure every CORE (the fandom name) who comes leaves with no regrets." Member Seonghyun added that he hadn't expected a solo tour to arrive this fast, promising to show fans everything the group has been holding back for a stage of their own.

The Incheon dates are just the start. Later this year, CORTIS will also perform at Lollapalooza Chicago, one of the largest music festivals in the United States, and at the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix, an event that routinely draws a global audience well outside the usual K-pop orbit. Both bookings signal that Big Hit Music is moving quickly to expand the group's international footprint rather than holding the international push for a later album cycle.

Juhoon kept his goals grounded when asked about what comes next. "I'm grateful to be standing on stages of that scale," he said. "But right now, my focus is on making even more 'delicious music' for the next album." Member Geonho, who is set to perform the tour's opening shows without his usual choreography after a finger injury, echoed the sentiment: "I always want to make good music and put together a great stage."

Fourteen shows. Nine cities. Less than twelve months since debut. The ceiling here has not shown itself yet.
