Jennie's Cozy Concert Photos With a Mystery Guy Have Fans Talking
Jennie posted a low-key photo dump on September 9 that quickly became anything but low-key. The BLACKPINK member was photographed close to a male friend at a concert, and separately, her Adidas collaboration is now caught up in a boycott campaign tied to a controversial ad from the brand's Israeli division.

Jennie dropped a wordless photo dump on September 9, and fans did all the talking for her.
Among the images was a snapshot of the BLACKPINK member at a concert, leaning in close to a male friend. She offered zero caption, zero context, which, predictably, was all the fuel the comments section needed.

The other photos
A separate shot from the same batch showed Jennie in a dress at the wedding of model Tavia Bonetti. The gown turned out to be Versace, specifically, a piece from a Spring/Summer Haute Couture collection released 30 years ago. Vintage luxury, styled casually into a photo dump. Very on-brand.
The Adidas situation
Then there's the messier storyline. Adidas Israel ran a campaign called the "Single Shoe Service," offering amputees the option to buy a single shoe at half price. The campaign featured a former Israeli soldier who lost a limb during combat near Gaza in 2021.
Pro-Palestinian activists and users across social media called it out as using a soldier involved in the Gaza conflict as the face of disability marketing, and a boycott of Adidas followed. The timing is suspicious for Jennie specifically: she and Adidas had just launched a joint collection together, and her Adidas-related posts are now drawing comments demanding she cut ties with the brand.
Adidas has not publicly addressed the campaign's backlash. Jennie's team has said nothing either. For now, the photo dump and the boycott pressure are doing their own thing in parallel, and neither is going away quietly.
