Three months is a short runway to announce a sonic pivot, but Keyveatz are doing exactly that. AOMG's first girl crew will drop their debut mixtape A1ㄱ (pronounced "A-Won-Go") on the 30th at 6 p.m. KST across major streaming platforms, roughly 90 days after their official June debut.

The group's five members, Yui, Kang Ye-seul, Eom Ji-won, Son Ju-won, and Kim Yu-na, designed the title with intention. A1ㄱ combines the first letter of the Latin alphabet, the number one, and the first consonant of the Korean alphabet, assembling three separate systems' opening symbols into a single phrase that the crew says represents building something new from the very beginning. It is a deliberate piece of branding from a group that has been deliberate from day one.

What the teaser material signals

Keyveatz previewed the mixtape's title track on the 23rd via their official YouTube channel. The clip shows all five members performing over an addictive beat, each bringing a distinct movement style while the overall energy stays loose and high-voltage. Individual teasers leaned into each member's separate personality, while a group teaser showed the five of them collaboratively drawing the album cover image, a visual metaphor for what A1ㄱ is meant to communicate about the crew's collective identity.

Their debut EP OXY_GEN, released in June, was rooted in subculture and underground hip-hop. With A1ㄱ, Keyveatz have said plainly they intend to move beyond existing genre frameworks, not abandon the foundation but expand beyond it. For a crew signed to AOMG, the label Jay Park built into one of Korea's most recognizable hip-hop imprints, that kind of early confidence in stretching is worth noting.

Building a profile beyond the studio

The release comes as Keyveatz have been widening their footprint off-record as well. The group has performed at multiple university festivals in recent weeks, where live performance ability tends to be tested in front of audiences that are harder to impress than fandom crowds. They also appeared on the Recording Academy's Global Spin content series, giving them a slice of international visibility rare for a crew this early in their timeline. Additionally, the group was appointed as ambassadors for the Korea Diabetes Association.

Early returns on Keyveatz suggest a group that AOMG is moving with purpose rather than patience. A debut mixtape three months after launch, a Grammy-affiliated content appearance, and a charity ambassadorship before the year is out: circle September 30. That is when the ceiling here starts to come into focus.
