Kwon Eunbi Reveals She and Jeong Ye-in Crashed a Clothing Business Together, and It Made Their Friendship Stronger

With a comeback on the horizon, Kwon Eunbi appeared on Jeong Ye-in's YouTube channel and opened up about a fashion business the two launched together years ago, one that ended with 500 unsold items and somehow brought them closer. She also shared a candid pre-comeback vlog documenting a week of workouts, skin treatments, and a homemade diet recipe.

Kwon Eunbi walked into Jeong Ye-in's YouTube channel on the 28th and handed fans ten years' worth of behind-the-scenes stories, including one neither of them had talked about publicly before: the clothing brand they built together and then watched fail.

"We had a clothing brand," Eunbi said on the channel. "I can't say the name, but we ran a business together." The venture didn't survive long. "It crashed completely. We had around 500 items left in inventory at the end." Jeong Ye-in filled in the postscript: "We cleared the stock eventually. Sold it cheap."

What's stayed with both of them isn't the failure but what came after it. Eunbi described how the experience, rather than straining things, deepened the bond. "We've tried everything together," she said. "That's how much loyalty there is between us. The business collapsed and we're still close." Ye-in put it plainly: "Usually when a business falls apart, the relationship goes with it. Ours got stronger."

The two have known each other since their trainee days at Woollim Entertainment, where they practiced together before debuting in IZ*ONE and Lovelyz respectively. The fashion venture, it sounds like, was something they threw themselves into with full sincerity: trips to Dongdaemun market to pick fabrics, T-shirts and hoodies brought from their own wardrobes to test fits, hats they designed and produced. "I made the logo by hand," Eunbi added. When Ye-in asked if she still had any of the clothes, Eunbi confirmed she does: "Collecting dust at home."

One week out from a comeback

Two days later, on the 30th, Eunbi posted a vlog to her own YouTube channel titled Comeback Week Intensive Care, and the tone was just as unfiltered. She appeared in front of the camera bare-faced, assessed herself with a small laugh, "I'm pretty swollen. I ate a lot and slept a lot", and then set about fixing it.

The morning started at the gym with a personal training session she described as bringing the puffiness down noticeably. "Self-care has to be consistent," she said afterward. "Either work out seriously or go to the dermatologist seriously. And home care matters too."

She did both. At the dermatology clinic, she received two treatments: Onda and Sofwave, the latter a skin-lifting procedure she tested on one side of her face before the camera, tilting her head to compare. "There's definitely an effect. I can feel the lifting." Walking out afterward, she was visibly more at ease: "The puffiness is gone. My skin feels smooth. I'm going to try to hold on to this."

Food got the same attention. Eunbi cooked what she called a chadol yangbaechu soba: a bowl of buckwheat noodles with cabbage, garlic chives, green onion, and thinly sliced beef brisket, high in protein and fiber and clearly designed to satisfy without undoing a week of work. She also shared her sauna method for fast de-puffing: a cold wet towel over the face, five to seven minutes inside, then a cold shower or plunge. The contrast between heat and cold she described as part of the technique, though it's worth noting that method can carry risks for anyone with blood pressure concerns, since the rapid temperature shift causes blood vessels to expand and contract sharply.

For fans counting down to the comeback, the vlog does something a polished press image can't: it shows the actual work. The gym sets, the dermatology chair, the home-cooked diet meal, the unsold hoodies gathering dust in a closet from a business that failed and a friendship that didn't. It's a lot to share, and it lands.
