Suzy Reportedly Buys Into 27-Home Seoul Complex With Units Up to 40 Billion Won

Suzy has reportedly signed a purchase contract at L'ARBRE 27, a 27-unit luxury residence in Seoul's Samsung-dong where the top units are priced at around 40 billion won. TenAsia reported the news on the 22nd, adding Suzy to a list of celebrity buyers that already includes Shin Se-kyung, Jang Keun-suk, BLACKPINK's Jisoo and broadcaster Seo Jang-hoon.

Which type of home Suzy chose has not been disclosed. The listed names have been circulating for some time: Shin Se-kyung's contract surfaced first, and the others were then named as buyers. If all the reports hold, a large share of a very small building would belong to well-known entertainers.

What the complex offers

L'ARBRE 27 is being built at Samsung-dong 90-20 in Gangnam District, with Hyundai Engineering & Construction as the builder. It has two buildings running from five floors below ground to seven above, holding 27 homes in total. The small count is the selling point: fewer residents, more privacy, and a setting that is deliberately unlike a large apartment complex.

The homes come in several forms: garden houses, terrace houses and top-floor penthouses. The super penthouse is reported at around 40 billion won, garden houses start at about 26 billion won, and terrace houses start at about 14 billion won. Some units on the sixth floor are said to be priced near 19.5 billion won.

In Seoul's top-end market, buyer privacy is part of the product, which is partly why a 27-home building draws this kind of attention when its contract list leaks. None of the celebrity purchases has been confirmed by the individuals or their agencies in the source report.
