Two months after the video went live, Tom Holland still hasn't gotten over his interview with Epik High.

On the 9th, the Spider-Man: Brand New Day star posted a clip on social media from the pre-release interview he and his co-stars did with the Korean hip-hop group, calling it "my favourite interview ever." The shoutout came unprompted, which made it land differently than a routine promotional plug.

What made the interview click

The segment was filmed during Epik High's visit to London, where the group met Holland, Zendaya, and Jacob Batalon for a friendship test. By all accounts, it was genuinely funny, the kind of loosely structured format where the chemistry either works immediately or it doesn't, and here it clearly did. The clip reportedly had the room in fits of laughter.

The numbers back up the enthusiasm. Since going up on YouTube, the interview has crossed 3.61 million views, a strong showing for a press junket segment, and one that likely gave the film's Korean rollout a quiet boost alongside its official marketing.

Epik High, the trio of Tablo, Mithra Jin, and DJ Tukutz, who have been one of South Korea's most enduring hip-hop acts for over two decades, have carved out a distinctive lane as interviewers, often bringing a more conversational, off-script energy to celebrity sit-downs than traditional entertainment press tends to allow. Holland's reaction suggests that approach translated well across the Atlantic.

What's next for Epik High

Fans won't have to wait long for the group's next big moment. Epik High has announced the 2027 Epik High Concert, scheduled for January 22 through 24 at KSPO Dome in Seoul Olympic Park. It's a significant venue choice, one of the larger indoor stages in the country, and a signal that the group is heading into the new year at full momentum.
