1VERSE Drop LOOP 8 Months On, with Credits from EXO and Dua Lipa Producers
K-pop group 1VERSE dropped their new single LOOP on the 11th, eight months after their last release. The track explores the addictive pull of arcade claw machines, with production credits from an EXO collaborator and a Dua Lipa producer.

K-pop group 1VERSE released their new single LOOP on the 11th, marking their first new music in roughly eight months since WABIF dropped in January.
The concept is immediately vivid: the song takes its emotional logic from standing in front of an arcade claw machine, that specific loop of near-success and stubborn refusal to walk away. The group's label, Singing Beetle, CEO Jo Min-kyung described it as capturing "the irony of something that starts out of simple curiosity but becomes harder and harder to quit the more you fail", the mind trapped in a loop, convinced the next try is the one that works. Musically, that idea lands in uptempo electric pop territory, with tense electronic textures and a recurring signature sound that keeps pulling the track back to its starting point, mirroring the endless cycle the lyrics live inside.
The people behind the sound
Three members, Kenny, Nathan, and Aito, contributed directly to the writing and composition. They were joined by Adrian McKinnon, who has production history with EXO and SHINee, and Skylar Mones, who has worked with Dua Lipa. It's a pairing that suggests Singing Beetle is investing seriously in 1VERSE's sound at a moment when the group is still early in building their international profile. The combination of tightly wound electronics up front and a recurring motif that literally loops back on itself is a clean match for what the song is trying to say.
A group moving fast on a global scale
1VERSE debuted in July of last year and have been moving at a pace that suggests their team has a clear roadmap. They completed a North America and Europe tour, and in August they became the first K-pop group to perform at Gamescom in Germany, the massive gaming convention in Cologne. That last milestone is a telling choice: landing at a gaming event signals a fanbase with strong crossover appeal and a label willing to find stages outside the usual K-pop circuit.
With LOOP out now, the question is whether the song's sharp central image and its heavyweight production credits can push the group into a wider conversation. Eight months is a long gap for a group at this stage, which makes the quality of the return matter all the more.
