&TEAM Hits 1.35 Million First-Week Sales as 'Good Boy' Japanese Version Drops

&TEAM released the Japanese-language version of "Good Boy" across streaming platforms on the 22nd, one day after debuting the performance live at Tokyo Garden Theatre during a showcase for their Korean mini-album Mark on Me.

The track is built on a heavy 808 beat, and what gives it its particular energy is the choreography, member K participated directly in its creation, lending the routine a storytelling quality that moves through the song rather than sitting on top of it. The members described it at the Tokyo showcase as a piece where "dancers join together to unravel a story," and that structural choice is audible in how the performance breathes between its harder sections.

What makes 'Good Boy' tick

According to the members, the song balances two registers within a single track: a forceful rap section and a melodic pre-chorus that gives the harder moments room to land. It's the kind of arrangement that rewards a live crowd, and judging by the response at Tokyo Garden Theatre on the 21st, the Japanese-language version translated well.

The release comes at a strong moment for the group. Mark on Me, their second Korean mini-album, crossed 1.35 million first-week sales on the Hanteo Chart, making it their fourth consecutive million-selling release. The album channels what the group describes as their core identity, framed around the concept of "wolf DNA", filtered through the emotional register of love.

Asia tour finale on the horizon

&TEAM's current momentum carries into live dates: the group will close out their Asia tour at Seoul's KSPO Dome on October 3rd and 4th. From October 15th, they begin a large-scale Japan run titled 2026-2027 &TEAM Concert Tour 'Mark on You', covering 18 cities across the country for a total of 41 performances.

&TEAM was formed through HYBE's global boy group project &Audition: The Howling and debuted in Japan in December 2022. They made their official Korean debut in October last year with "Back to Life," which earned them three music show wins.
