Apple Music launches K-pop radio series with NCT 127 and more
Apple Music has unveiled a new radio series featuring six iconic K-pop groups, including NCT 127 and Tomorrow X Together. This initiative showcases exclusive interviews and music selections from these artists, recorded in their Los Angeles studio.

Apple Music has announced the release of a global radio series featuring six prominent K-pop acts as of August 31, 2026.
The lineup includes popular groups such as NCT 127, Tomorrow X Together's Yeonjun, Alpha Drive, KickFlip, Next G, and KiKi, representing a significant collaboration in the industry. The radio programs consist of two distinct segments: the Global Chart Show K-pop special and Radio Takeover, both produced in Apple Music's Los Angeles studio. This marks the first time the platform has consecutively welcomed multiple K-pop artists for radio programming.
In the Global Chart Show K-pop special, Alpha Drive, KickFlip, and Next G participated in interviews led by Apple Music radio host Brooke Reece. The discussions revolved around their music, creative processes, and future activities, providing fans with valuable insights directly from the artists.

Meanwhile, Radio Takeover featured KiKi, NCT 127, and Yeonjun. In this format, the artists take on the role of host, sharing not only their own music but also their favorite tracks and the inspirations behind their creative journeys. This unique approach enhances the personal connection between K-pop idols and their fans.
As the K-pop scene continues to evolve, Apple Music's initiative reflects a broader trend of integrating global audiences through engaging content. This radio series could potentially set a new standard for artist-fan interaction, emphasizing both performance and personal storytelling.
