BABYMONSTER's first solo concerts in Macau ended with a number that tells its own story: roughly 18,000 fans packed The Venetian Arena across two nights on September 11 and 12, making the group's Macau debut one of the more emphatic stops on their 2026-27 BABYMONSTER WORLD TOUR [CHOOM] so far.

Demand for the original date ran so high that organizers added a second show, which sold out just as quickly. Before either performance even started, fans had gathered outside the venue to sing along to BABYMONSTER's songs and recreate the choreography together, the kind of pre-show energy that makes the eventual opener feel earned.

How the setlist landed

The group opened with "WE GO UP" backed by a full band arrangement, a choice that immediately raised the temperature in the arena. From there, the set moved through the title track and album cuts from their third mini-album CHOOM, alongside crowd favorites "SHEESH" and "DRIP," keeping the momentum steady across both nights.

The production matched the ambition of the setlist: large-scale stage rigging, synchronized laser work, and pyrotechnics timed to shift with each song's mood. The members performed on handheld microphones throughout, which put the live vocals and rap deliveries front and center rather than hiding behind a headset mix. Solo stages for individual members broke up the group numbers and gave each performer a distinct moment to own.

After the final bow, BABYMONSTER shared a message for their Macanese fans, known as MONSTAs: "We were so happy to meet Macau's MONSTAs in person. We hope tonight was a memorable time for you, since you waited so long. We'll keep today's moment in our hearts and show you an even better side of ourselves."

Where the tour goes next

The Macau dates sit within a wider Asian leg that kicked off in Manila on September 5. The tour is scheduled to expand through Oceania, South America, North America, and Europe, with a total of 29 shows across 18 cities on five continents before it wraps. For a group still in the early years of their career, the scale of the CHOOM world tour is a clear signal of how quickly their international fanbase has grown.
