Chungha Parts Ways with Jay Park's Morevision After 3-Year Run
Chungha and Morevision have confirmed their exclusive contract will end on September 21. The split closes a three-year chapter that saw her release singles including EENIE MEENIE and México under Jay Park's label.

Chungha is leaving Morevision. The label confirmed on the 14th via its official social media accounts that she and the company had agreed, after careful discussions, to end their exclusive contract effective September 21.
"We sincerely thank Chungha for her outstanding work and wish her all the best on the new path ahead," Morevision said in the statement. The label also thanked fans for their support over the three years.

The Morevision chapter
Chungha joined Morevision in October 2023, leaving her previous agency MNH Entertainment to sign with the hip-hop and R&B-rooted label that Jay Park founded after stepping down as head of AOMG in 2021. It was a noticeable move at the time: Chungha is a polished pop act with a decade of mainstream visibility, and Morevision's roster skewed harder toward urban music. The bet was that the sonic overlap was bigger than it looked.
During her three years there, she released a string of singles: EENIE MEENIE, Algorithm, STRESS, Save Me, and México. Active output, but no new label announcement has accompanied today's news, which means she heads into the market as a free agent.

How she got here
Chungha first appeared on the public radar through Mnet's Produce 101 in 2016, going on to debut as part of the project group I.O.I that same year. The group's run was short by design, but tracks like "Neomuhneomuhneomuh" and "Very Very Very" built real fan loyalty before the unit dissolved.
She pivoted to a solo career in 2017 and steadily grew into one of the more consistent solo acts of her generation, with hits including Roller Coaster, Snapping, and Already cementing her as someone who could hold an audience without a group behind her.
At 29, she's got the catalog and the profile to attract serious label interest. Where she lands next is the story to watch.
