NewJeans' Ador Fired Danielle, Yet Fans Say Four Members Just Met Her in Australia

Danielle, the member Ador cut from NewJeans, posted a video called "Sisters in Melbourne" on the 20th, and fans now think she spent the trip with the people who replaced her in the group's future. Nobody has confirmed it. Ador has said nothing.

The clip, uploaded to Danielle's personal YouTube channel, shows her visiting a home and playing with dogs. Fans say the dogs look like the pet Hanni shared earlier, and they guess it is Hanni's family home in Melbourne. Some also claim they hear laughter that sounds like Hanni's.

The detective work goes on. A beach scene shows the backs of women some viewers found familiar. In an ice cream scene, the upper bodies of two people are said to resemble Hyein and Minji. At the end, as the group says goodbye, a voice believed to be Minji's says "Bye," and a voice fans attribute to Hyein says a Korean line that begins "언니가~" ("Older sister will..."). Danielle's social accounts also carry a photo of five people holding colorful ice creams.

The title does some of the work. "Sisters" could mean her biological older sister, who reportedly traveled with her, but fans read it as a wink at the members. The footage has no stated dates, and none of the members' presence has been confirmed.

Fans, for the most part, are just happy to see anything.

Why such small clues matter

The frenzy says as much about the silence as the video. NewJeans last performed at ComplexCon Hong Kong in March 2025, a year and seven months ago, before activities stopped during the legal fight with Ador.

The group declared its contracts with Ador terminated in November 2024 and began working independently as NJZ. A court injunction then halted that activity from March 2025. Haerin and Hyein announced their return to Ador in November 2025, and Hanni's return was confirmed in December. Danielle was notified by Ador that her contract was terminated, and she left the group. Minji conveyed her intention to return through her legal representatives, but Ador has not confirmed it and keeps saying talks are ongoing.

Public activity has diverged since. Haerin and Hyein have resumed fashion and promotional work, including magazine shoots in August. Haerin attended a Dior Beauty pop-up in Seoul's Songpa-gu on Sept. 7, her first official public appearance since returning. Hanni and Minji have no comparable appearances, which is odd for Hanni, whose return Ador confirmed in December.

A court upholding the contracts does not mean agency and member have agreed how to work together. Until one side says otherwise, a dog in a YouTube video is what fans have.
