Leessang's Gary posted a Bangkok travel update with his son Hao on the 28th, and the photos did most of the talking.

Captioning the post "I Love Bangkok," Gary shared a series of shots of the two moving through the Thai capital: street backdrops, traditional props, matching colorful shirts that looked deliberately coordinated. Side by side, Hao is clearly his father's son. The resemblance is close enough that Korean fans have been using the term bungeo-ppang (붕어빵, literally "fish-shaped bread") to describe it, the local shorthand for a parent-child pair who look stamped from the same mold.

Beyond the look-alike moment, what stood out was how much Hao has grown. Gary has been sharing father-son snapshots with some regularity, and each post seems to catch fans slightly off guard by how fast the kid is growing up. Last month Gary posted another family glimpse with the caption "How long will you keep holding Dad's hand?" which, as far as captions go, landed.

Gary married a non-celebrity ten years his junior in 2017 and welcomed Hao that October. He has kept his family life largely out of the public eye since, but occasional posts like this one tend to travel fast among fans who remember him from his Leessang years and his long run on the variety show Running Man.

The Bangkok set is low-key by any celebrity standard: no production, no brand tags, just a father and son goofing around in loud shirts. That's probably why it works.
