Hanroro will play her first arena shows on Jan. 2 and 3, 2027, at Naver Arena at Inspire in Incheon, and the concerts share a title with her new single, "Question Mark." The song, which she wrote herself, was released on the 5th at 6 p.m. KST, according to her agency Authentic.

It is a song about a relationship that hurts and still can't be dropped. Hanroro writes about affection, resentment and regret all at once, and the central feeling is the contradiction of giving and taking wounds without being able to let go. After a run of questions and mismatched emotions, the song settles on a hope that the answer, in the end, will be love. It continues her habit of writing about the uncertainty of young adulthood in plain, candid language.

A story written before the song

On the 24th of last month, Hanroro posted a synopsis she had written herself on social media. It follows two childhood friends who meet at a swimming school and grow up sharing their dreams. Conflicts pile up as they get older, and the friendship slowly erodes. Years later, a chance reunion drags the unresolved tension back into view.

The music video is built on that narrative and traces how the relationship between the two characters changes. Releasing the story ahead of the song gave fans a frame to read it through before they heard a note, which suits a track so focused on mixed feelings.

From Hongdae venues to an arena

The concerts, her fifth solo headlining run, are also titled "Question Mark." They will be her first arena-sized shows since debut, following earlier performances at small live music venues in Seoul's Hongdae district and at concert halls. The shows are expected to explore uncertainty, understanding and empathy, the same themes running through the single.

For an artist whose songs tend to feel like private confessions, the jump in venue size is a notable one. Two nights at an arena built for a big crowd will test how that intimacy carries.
