Im Young-woong released his special digital album IM HERO 10 on September 8 at 6 p.m. KST, and the chart response was immediate: within an hour, all ten tracks had entered the Melon Hot 100, with the self-composed title track 'Ddoddo' landing at No. 1 and album cut 'Moise' directly behind it at No. 2.

By midnight, the sweep was complete in the most literal sense. All ten songs on IM HERO 10 occupied the entire top ten of the Melon Hot 100 simultaneously. The chart measures listening volume from the most recent hour and is restricted to newly released tracks, which makes a full sweep of that kind a genuinely rare achievement. The ten-track release is built around a mix of new original material and reimagined fan favorites. 'Ddoddo,' the lead single Im wrote himself, sits at the center of the project. Before the album dropped, his label Mulgogimusic released the 'Ddoddo' music video on the 7th to warm things up.

Im described the song as carrying playful, affectionate lyrics and mentioned that the name of his pet dog Siwol is tucked into the words in Spanish (octubre). It's a small personal detail, but it's the kind of thing his fanbase tends to notice and appreciate.

Bringing those four back in new arrangements gives IM HERO 10 a retrospective quality alongside its fresh material, a nod to where he started while showing where he is now.
