Jennie's 'Dracula' Breaks BTS Record With 16 Weeks in Hot 100 Top 10

Jennie's feature on Tame Impala's "Dracula" has just rewritten K-pop chart history. As of the September 15 Billboard update, the track has spent 16 consecutive weeks inside the Hot 100 top 10, holding at No. 6 for a second straight week and surpassing the 15-week record set by BTS's "Butter" in 2021. It is now the longest top-10 run on the Hot 100 by any K-pop act.

The song's path to that milestone is genuinely unusual. "Dracula" was originally released in October last year as a Tame Impala solo track, and it did fine without ever threatening the top of the American charts. Then in February, a remix featuring Jennie landed, caught fire on short-form video platforms, and reversed course on the chart entirely. The song climbed to a peak of No. 5 before settling into its current long-term residency in the top 10. Fifty weeks on the Hot 100 and counting.

The combination of psychedelic pop production and Jennie's vocal presence turned out to be stickier than almost anyone predicted, and the short-form momentum has clearly translated into sustained streaming and sales numbers rather than a one-week spike.

Elsewhere on the Hot 100, KATSEYE continues to build a multi-front chart presence. "Animal" climbed three spots to No. 27 for its seventh consecutive week on the chart, while "Hootie Frutti" held at No. 67 for a fourth straight week.

On the Billboard 200, Stray Kids' new album This & That rose one place to No. 15, the highest position among K-pop acts this week. BTS's fifth studio album ARIRANG sits at No. 29, followed by the Netflix animated film K-Pop Demon Hunters OST at No. 37 and ENHYPEN's THE SIN : BLISS at No. 41. MONSTA X debuted their new record The Phase at No. 118, and Kortis's GREENGREEN charted at No. 188.

KATSEYE is arguably the week's most remarkable album-chart story: the HYBE-Geffen group has three separate projects on the Billboard 200 simultaneously. WILD, which topped the chart in August, sits at No. 16; BEAUTIFUL CHAOS holds at No. 150; and SIS (Soft Is Strong) lands at No. 187. For a group still relatively early in their run, that kind of catalog breadth across a single chart is a notable sign of how much ground they've covered.
