'Dracula' Stays at Hot 100 No. 5 as Jennie Gears Up to Drop 'Less than a Lover'

For the second consecutive week, BLACKPINK's Jennie and Australian artist Tame Impala are sitting at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 with their collaboration 'Dracula,' matching the song's peak position and showing no signs of slipping.

The chart placement is the latest chapter in one of this year's more interesting K-pop crossover stories. Tame Impala originally released 'Dracula' as a solo track back in October 2024, but it was the remix featuring Jennie, dropped in February 2025, that gave the song a second life. Short-form video platforms picked it up fast, and the track climbed back up the chart from well outside the top 10.

With that momentum still running, Jennie is moving quickly. She releases a new solo single, 'Less than a Lover', on July 24, described as a summer song that she co-wrote and also co-directed the music video for. Both credits together point to an artist who's been shaping her own creative direction more deliberately this year.

Elsewhere on this week's Hot 100, HYBE label girl group collaboration 'Iconic By Mistake' by LE SSERAFIM, ILLIT, and katseye slipped 11 spots to No. 71 but extended its run to five consecutive weeks on the chart. BTS's 'SWIM' reached No. 100, marking a remarkable 17 straight weeks of chart presence.

On the Billboard 200 album chart, the bigger K-pop story this week is TOMORROW X TOGETHER member Yeonjun, whose second solo mini-album NO LABELS: PART 02 debuted at No. 16. It's a strong first entry for a solo project from a member of one of the most consistent groups in the format.

BTS's ARIRANG landed at No. 25, while the original soundtrack for Netflix animated film K-Pop Demon Hunters came in at No. 31. ATEEZ's GOLDEN HOUR: Part.5 charted at No. 54. Kortiz's GREENGREEN placed at No. 132, and katseye's Beautiful Chaos at No. 138.

For Jennie, the timing of 'Less than a Lover' could hardly be better: two weeks at peak position on the Hot 100 is the kind of chart visibility that turns a release day into an event.
