KATSEYE's 'Animal' Arrives July 24: Their First Single in 3 Months
KATSEYE will release their new single 'Animal' on July 24, marking their first new music since 'PINKY UP' dropped in April. The release comes as the HYBE-Geffen group gears up for their third EP 'WILD' in August and a North America and Europe tour to follow.

KATSEYE is back with new music this week. The HYBE-Geffen Records girl group will release 'Animal' on July 24 at 1 p.m. KST, their first single in roughly three months since PINKY UP arrived in April.

HYBE Labels dropped a music video teaser on July 21 that immediately caught fans' attention: members styled in sharp office-look outfits move through a mysterious atmosphere while a brief vocal snippet plays through the frame. The moment listeners online have been zeroing in on is that bridge line, equal parts invitation and warning, which sets the single's tension-laced tone without giving too much away.
The release is well-timed. On August 14, KATSEYE will put out WILD, their third EP, and 'Animal' is the lead-in. After the album drops, the group heads into 'THE WILDWORLD Tour,' covering both North America and Europe.
For a group that only debuted in the United States in 2024, the pace of their growth has been remarkable. In under two years, KATSEYE has performed at major festival stages including Lollapalooza and Coachella. In May 2026, they swept three awards at the American Music Awards, including New Artist of the Year, one of the top three popular music awards shows in the US. They also received two Grammy Award nominations at the 68th ceremony.
With a new single, a third EP, and a full international tour all arriving within weeks of each other, the second half of 2026 is shaping up to be KATSEYE's busiest stretch yet.
