OMONAR

KATSEYE's Touch music video crossed 300 million YouTube views on September 21, becoming the second video in the group's catalog to reach that mark. According to HYBE and Geffen Records, the milestone follows the Gabriela performance video, which cleared 300 million views earlier. Two videos at that threshold is a meaningful signal for a group that is still only a few years into its run.

When Touch dropped in July 2024, it spread largely through a dance challenge: the choreography was designed to be picked up and passed around, and it worked. The hook-driven moves gave fans an easy entry point and gave the song a life beyond the official video, which is part of why the view count kept climbing long after the initial release wave.

WILD is performing just as well

The group's most recent release is keeping pace. The Animal music video from their third EP WILD reached 100 million views in 54 days, and the title track Hootie Frutti is closing in on the same mark. Both numbers suggest the fanbase that built around Touch has grown rather than leveled off.

On the chart side, WILD debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and has spent a month in the upper reaches of the chart since. Multiple tracks from the EP have also placed on the Hot 100 simultaneously, which is the kind of multi-song chart presence that typically only comes when an album has genuine crossover momentum rather than a single standout track carrying the rest.

Four VMA nominations on the 27th

KATSEYE will have a chance to add hardware to those numbers at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles on the 27th. The group is nominated in four categories, including Best Group. It is the kind of awards-show moment that tends to pull in viewers who have heard the name but haven't fully locked in yet, and with Touch now at 300 million views and WILD still charting, there is a fair amount of momentum behind them heading into the night.
