KATSEYE is doing something quietly remarkable on the UK Official Singles chart: the HYBE and Geffen Records global girl group is holding two songs in the Top 100 at the same time, and has been for weeks.

According to the October 9–15 chart update, the title track from their third mini-album WILD, Hootie Frutti, sits at No. 66, down two spots from the previous week's No. 64, but still marking its eighth consecutive week in the Top 100. Pre-release track Animal dropped 53 places to No. 79 after a strong run at No. 26, yet still clocked its eleventh straight week on the chart. That kind of staying power, even with a significant positional drop, signals genuine audience hold rather than a release-week spike.

WILD was described by the group as an album about embracing their instincts and inner selves without apology, a theme that seems to be resonating well beyond the initial promotional window. The album's momentum was already well established: in August, KATSEYE debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, their first time topping the US main albums chart. The UK singles run adds another dimension to what has been a breakthrough era for the group.

The Huntrix effect

Also charting this week: Golden, the breakout track by virtual girl group Huntrix from the Netflix K-pop anime film K-Pop Demon Hunters, landed at No. 62, one spot below last week's No. 61, for its 68th consecutive week on the UK Singles Top 100. Sixty-eight weeks is a remarkable stretch for any track, let alone one originating from an animated feature, and it speaks to how thoroughly K-Pop Demon Hunters embedded itself with a UK audience.

Elsewhere on this week's chart, Taylor Swift's new single Patient Zero held at No. 1 for a second consecutive week.

For KATSEYE, the dual placement continues a pattern worth watching: two tracks from a single project sustaining chart presence across multiple months, in a market where most acts cycle through in a week or two. The group's foothold in the UK feels less like a chart blip now and more like a foundation.
