KickFlip's Kick Off The Wall Debuts at #1 for 3 Straight Days With iann dior Feature
KickFlip topped the Hanteo daily album chart for three consecutive days following their October 6 release of KICK OFF THE WALL Pt. 1. The JYP group shared behind-the-scenes photos from the music video featuring American artist iann dior.

KickFlip landed at the top of the Hanteo daily album chart for three days running, October 6 through 8, after dropping their mini-album KICK OFF THE WALL Pt. 1, a strong early signal that the JYP group's latest musical direction is resonating well beyond their existing fanbase.
On the 10th, their label JYP Entertainment released a set of behind-the-scenes photos from the music video shoot for the double title track Kick Off The Wall (Feat. iann dior). The images capture the group in an easy, unguarded mood: members perched on a rooftop, leaning against railings, wearing their individual personalities as naturally as their outfits. One of the standout sequences shows the members and American singer-songwriter iann dior sharing a bus together, the kind of candid, low-key frame that suggests the chemistry between them was genuine rather than arranged.

Two title tracks, one throughline
Kick Off The Wall (Feat. iann dior) is built around the idea of pushing past inner doubt and breaking through whatever wall stands in front of you. Members Gyehoon and Donghwa co-wrote the lyrics, giving the track a personal edge, while iann dior's signature emo-rap delivery and softer vocal passages add a texture that sits in interesting contrast to KickFlip's brighter, guitar-forward energy.
The second title track, Miwan-seong (literally "Unfinished"), approaches the same emotional territory from a different angle. Where Kick Off The Wall is about momentum, Miwan-seong sits with the uncertainty of early adulthood, using the image of an unsolvable puzzle to describe the feeling of not having the answers yet. Gyehoon contributed to both writing and composing here, too. Together, the two tracks form a kind of dialogue: acknowledging the incompleteness, then deciding to move anyway.

All eight tracks, all members
Every song on KICK OFF THE WALL Pt. 1 carries a writing credit from at least one member, which is notable for a group still building its discography. All eight tracks were developed with some level of member involvement, a detail that matters both creatively and commercially, it means the album's themes of trial, anxiety, and gradual growth come from somewhere real rather than from a songwriter's brief.
In a statement shared through JYP, the members spoke about what they want KickFlip to sound like regardless of genre: something that moves you immediately, the way a guitar riff does before you've had time to think about it. They also talked about the personal standards they're trying to clear, describing the challenge of their own vocal, dance, and stage expectations as something they'd rather test than worry about in advance. "We tried a lot of new things on this album," they said, adding that they want to keep showing visible growth going forward.
For a group that has been writing their own material since debut, KICK OFF THE WALL Pt. 1 feels like a confident next step, and three consecutive chart-toppers suggest the audience is keeping pace with them.
