Kim Ji-hoon Says Kim Hye-soo's Body Is 'Beyond Human Understanding' After Filming Together
Actor Kim Ji-hoon opened up about his genuine surprise at Kim Hye-soo's physical discipline on the set of the new Coupang Play series 'Adultery Is Not the Problem Right Now'. In a newly released YouTube interview, he described her figure as completely outside the bounds of what he thought the human body could look like, high praise delivered with real warmth.

Kim Ji-hoon did not hold back when the conversation turned to Kim Hye-soo on set. In a YouTube video released on the 30th through the channel PDC by PDC, the four leads of the upcoming Coupang Play series Adultery Is Not the Problem Right Now, Kim Hye-soo, Jo Yeo-jeong, Kim Ji-hoon, and Kim Jae-cheol, sat down to share stories from behind the cameras, and one moment in particular landed.

The group had been joking about a shower scene involving Kim Ji-hoon when the topic shifted to physical preparation. Jo Yeo-jeong teased him directly: "You were so impressive I couldn't concentrate. Did you get your body ready specifically for that scene?" Kim Ji-hoon laughed it off, saying he keeps his weight consistent year-round regardless of whether he's working or resting, "even before and after a paycheck," he joked. Kim Hye-soo shot back with a quick "That's definitely not me," drawing laughter from the room.
But it was what Kim Ji-hoon said next that made the clip worth clipping. He told the group that one of the biggest surprises during filming was watching Kim Hye-soo eat. A lot. "There's a lingerie scene in the drama where her silhouette is stunning, completely flat stomach," he said. "And then on set, she's eating full meals." He admitted it forced him to reconsider everything he thought he knew about the human body: "She has a physique that is outside the bounds of my common sense. I was genuinely impressed."

Kim Jae-cheol nodded along, saying the scene brought back memories of Kim Hye-soo's iconic role as Jeong Madame in the Tazza films, a character whose commanding presence was inseparable from how she carried herself physically. It's the kind of compliment that circles back to a whole career.
Kim Hye-soo, visibly a little embarrassed, smiled and deflected with the best possible response: "It should be my acting that leaves an impression..." The room dissolved.
Adultery Is Not the Problem Right Now is described by its cast as a "chain-collision black comedy." The series follows two couples whose lives spiral into chaos: one is a popular influencer couple who have built their image around domestic happiness, and the other is a neighboring doctor couple mid-divorce. When both households get pulled into a secret too big to contain, the affair everyone's talking about turns out to be the least of their problems. Given the chemistry on display in this interview alone, the dynamic between the four leads looks like one of the show's real assets.
