Kim Min-jong drops charges against MC Mong after public apology

However, after a four-month period following the initial remarks, MC Mong personally met with Min-jong to apologize on September 5. During a TikTok livestream, he acknowledged the error in naming Min-jong and expressed regret for his actions.

Accepting the apology, Kim Min-jong explained his choice to drop the lawsuit, stating, "I believe it’s necessary to give someone who has recognized their mistakes another chance." He reflected on the severe impact the allegations had on his career, including halted projects and potential advertising deals, yet chose not to pursue legal consequences.

"While it’s true that I suffered damages over the last four months, I didn’t want to ignore the sincere heart of a junior seeking forgiveness," he added. Min-jong emphasized that embracing people over legal action is a more meaningful choice.
