Lee Do-hyun Wore a Luxury Label to the Airport and It Still Didn't Land

Lee Do-hyun left Incheon International Airport on the 20th bound for Milan, where he is attending Prada's 2027 Spring/Summer womenswear show. The outfit ticked every surface-level box: a bright blue striped long-sleeve tee, roomy charcoal wide-leg trousers, a black crossbody bag, and loafers. The result, however, did not quite come together.

The wide silhouette read more accidental than relaxed. On paper, oversized trousers paired with a casual stripe is a clean, effortless formula, but the proportions here worked against Lee Do-hyun rather than for him. The charcoal and blue pairing is low-contrast and low-energy, and neither piece gave the other anything to push against. Given his frame and the kind of easy elegance he can pull off, the whole look felt like it was underselling him.

The hair was a similar story. A short, naturally falling style is not wrong in principle, but this particular execution sat flat in a way that added to the overall muted impression. When the clothes are already playing it quiet, the grooming needs to compensate, and it did not.

Comfort-focused airport dressing is a legitimate choice, and long-haul flights to Milan call for it. But comfort and polish are not mutually exclusive, and this look leaned so far into the former that it gave up on the latter entirely. The detail that gives it away is the hair: a sharper cut or a bit more styling would have changed the read on the whole outfit.

What's ahead for Lee Do-hyun

The Milan trip comes as Lee Do-hyun has several projects lined up. He is confirmed for the Netflix series Grand Galaxy Hotel, as well as the films Let's Shake Our Sun and Nambyeol. It is, by any measure, a busy stretch, and the Prada invitation reflects where his profile currently sits in the industry. The airport look just did not quite match the moment.
