Someone Didn't Pay: Lee Hi's 2026 World Tour Scrapped Days Before Kickoff

Lee Hi's LEEHI & 808 HI RECORDINGS WORLD TOUR 2026 is dead. Her label, 808 HI RECORDINGS, confirmed on August 4 that every city on the 10-stop tour has been scrapped, four days before the scheduled Singapore opener.

The label's statement is blunt about who it holds responsible: promoter KINO WHITE TOURING KOREA INC. On August 2, the company notified 808 HI RECORDINGS that all shows were canceled and that refund procedures would begin. According to the label, the promoter never completed payment or the necessary logistical preparations, even after multiple deadline extensions were granted.

"This cancellation is not the result of any decision or fault on the artist's part," the label wrote in its official statement. It added that it had repeatedly pushed back payment deadlines and requested that contractual obligations be fulfilled, but the promoter ultimately walked away without settling.

The tour was set to take Lee Hi through Singapore, Jakarta, Manila, Hong Kong, Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland, and three additional cities, starting August 8. None of those shows will happen.

808 HI RECORDINGS told ticketholders to contact their point of purchase for refund details, and issued an apology to fans who had been waiting for the tour. The label also confirmed it intends to pursue legal action against the promoter, which suggests this is far from over.

The timing is suspicious: a promoter that reportedly couldn't cover costs two days before the label went public had presumably been aware of the shortfall for considerably longer. Whether KINO WHITE TOURING KOREA INC. communicates its side of this publicly remains to be seen, but 808 HI RECORDINGS is clearly not treating it as a quiet contractual dispute.
