RESCENE Announces November 3 Comeback, 7 Months After Last Original Track

RESCENE is coming back on November 3, their agency The Muse Entertainment confirmed on the 18th. It marks roughly four months since the July release of their remake single Pretty Girl, and about seven months since Runaway, their last original track, dropped in April. The new release will be an original song.

For a group that debuted in March 2024 under a smaller agency, the timing carries real weight. RESCENE spent much of this year riding one of K-pop's more unlikely chart stories: LOVE ATTACK, the title track from their first mini-album, was released in August 2024 and barely registered at the time. Then, well over a year later, member Wonyi's content on his personal YouTube channel began circulating widely on short-form platforms, anchoring a meme known as the "Geoje Yaho" moment. The clip spread fast enough to pull the song back into active listening, and LOVE ATTACK climbed Melon's TOP100 until it reached number one in July, nearly two years after its original release.

How the meme became a movement

The reverse-chart run drew attention precisely because of the group's scale. Larger agencies have the machinery to manufacture second-wind moments, but RESCENE's revival came almost entirely from organic short-form spread. That's the kind of word-of-mouth arc that's hard to engineer and harder to repeat, which is part of what makes November 3 interesting.

The momentum didn't stop at LOVE ATTACK. Pretty Girl, released to capture some of that goodwill, peaked at number two on Melon's TOP100, showing the audience had followed the group rather than just the meme. Two consecutive top-two chart finishes transformed RESCENE from a promising small-agency act into one of the year's more talked-about breakthroughs.

The November comeback will be their first new original material since that momentum started building in earnest, which means it's the first real chance to see whether the audience that arrived through LOVE ATTACK converts into a lasting fanbase. The new track drops November 3.
