RESCENE Wins Artist of the Year and Audience Vote at 2026 TMA

RESCENE walked away from the 2026 THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS with two trophies and one of the night's most talked-about stage moments. The five-member group (Wonyi, Liv, Minami, May, Jenna) attended the ceremony at Busan Asiad Main Stadium on the 19th and claimed both the Artist of the Year award and Today's Choice, the latter decided entirely by real-time audience voting on the night.

In their acceptance speech, the group thanked their fanbase by name. "We love REMAIN so much for making this award possible," they said, using the official fandom name. "To REMAIN and to all the fans who have worked so hard for RESCENE's music and scent to reach people, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We will keep working harder." Runaway opened the set and benefited most from the shift: the orchestration leaned into the song's already ethereal quality and stretched it, giving each member more space to work expressively within the melody. The transition into LOVE ATTACK kept that same orchestral foundation while letting the song's energy back in, and the crowd's response was audible by the first chorus. What made both stages land was less the spectacle of a full orchestra and more the fact that RESCENE didn't disappear behind it, the group's particular warmth and physicality stayed intact throughout.

November 3 comeback confirmed

The double win caps a strong stretch for a group clearly building toward something. RESCENE has confirmed a comeback on November 3, and the TMA performance offered a small preview of the instinct they're bringing into new material: an appetite for recontextualization, taking something familiar and finding where else it can live. What that sounds like on a new record is still an open question, but after a night like this one, the answer has a lot of people paying attention.
