RESCENE's PULSE Drops November 3, One Year After lip bomb

RESCENE are coming back. The five-member group will release their fourth mini album, PULSE, on November 3, their first physical album release in exactly one year, and their first batch of original new music in about four months.

The announcement comes from their label, The Muse Entertainment, which confirmed the PULSE release date on the 22nd. The group's previous mini album, lip bomb, dropped in November of last year, and their most recent single was Pretty Girl, a remake that arrived in July.

Riding a strong run

The timing feels deliberate. RESCENE have spent the better part of 2025 and 2026 quietly building one of the more compelling upward arcs in fourth-generation K-pop. LOVE ATTACK became a breakout moment through reverse-charting, the kind of delayed-discovery surge that tends to stick, and the group followed it by turning Pretty Girl into a genuine chart run on its own terms. Both tracks have held positions in the upper tiers of Melon and other major streaming charts for extended stretches.

For a group that hasn't released a full original mini album in twelve months, PULSE carries some weight. The five members, Woni, Liv, Minami, May, and Jena, have kept themselves visible through that gap, but a mini album is still the format where a K-pop act proves where they're going, not just where they've been.

The scent concept, continued

One of RESCENE's more distinctive creative threads has been their per-album scent concept, with each release built around a specific olfactory identity: floral, berry, incense, and so on. It's an unusual framework that has given their discography a sense of continuity without being repetitive. PULSE is expected to introduce a new scent direction alongside whatever musical angle the group brings this cycle.

What that sounds like is still under wraps, but the momentum going into this release is about as solid as RESCENE have had since their debut. The question PULSE has to answer is whether the group can translate chart staying power into a full project that holds up front to back, which, based on what lip bomb showed a year ago, is not a concern without some basis for optimism.
