Solbi (42, born Kwon Ji-an) and Lee Kyuhan (46) are getting married in April 2027, a year after the dating show that was supposed to pair them off ended with them not as a couple. Solbi's agency, Jian Castle, confirmed it on the 15th.

The statement says the two "decided to become husband and wife based on trust and love for each other." The families have already met, and the ceremony will be private, limited to relatives and close friends. The agency also asked fans for "warm congratulations and support" and said the pair will grow together as companions who support each other's paths.

Nobody saw this coming. No dating rumor ever surfaced, so the wedding news landed with zero warm-up.

The show that said no

The two met as cast members on Seeking a Long-term Relationship 3, the KBS Joy, KBS2 and GTV dating series that aired from July to September 2025. It was planned by comedian Song Eun-yi, and this is reportedly the first couple from the franchise to head to the altar.

On screen, they clicked fast. Both picked each other in the first-impression vote and went on a late-night one-on-one drive. Lee Kyuhan asked Solbi directly whether she would think about marriage if things worked out there, and she said that at her age, marriage was naturally on the table. He also told the other men that being with Solbi made him feel like "a really cool guy."

Then came the finale. Solbi lit her candle for him. Lee Kyuhan didn't light his, saying he wanted to protect his friendships with the other cast members, and the show ended with no final couple. Viewers were disappointed at the time.

Twenty years in the making

It turns out the show wasn't their first meeting. They reportedly met about 20 years ago at a social gathering, and later worked together as regular panelists on MBC's Oppa Thinking in 2017. After the dating show wrapped, they kept seeing each other through group get-togethers and eventually became a couple, according to people close to them.

Solbi debuted in 2006 with the co-ed group Typhoon, went solo, and has worked as a visual artist under her real name Kwon Ji-an since 2010. She won the Global Artist Award at the 2021 Barcelona International Art Awards. Lee Kyuhan debuted in the late 1990s and has appeared in My Name Is Kim Sam-soon, Graceful Family and The Judge from Hell, among other dramas.

The finale's non-ending now looks like a very long intermission. Fans are already rewatching that unlit candle.
