'No One Has Loved Us This Consistently': Sooyoung's Goodbye to Hyorisoo
Girls' Generation's Sooyoung broke down in tears at the Hyorisoo project wrap party, saying no team had ever shown her such consistent love. Yuri and Hyoyeon joined the emotional send-off after their Music Core debut.

Girls' Generation's Sooyoung was in tears by the end of it. The final episode of the Hyorisoo debut project, uploaded to the Hyoyeon's Level Up YouTube channel on September 16, captured the moment the production team surprised Sooyoung, Yuri, and Hyoyeon with a wrap party after their stage on MBC's Music Core, and Sooyoung was the one who couldn't hold it together.
"I had no idea you'd put this much love into it," she said through tears. "I don't think there's ever been a team that stayed this persistent, this consistent, carrying the same amount of care all the way to the end."

The moment that got everyone
The episode title alone gives a sense of how the project closed out: Murisoos, Hold Your Heads Up, The Unnies Made It to Music Core with a Helicopter and Actually Debuted. That helicopter stunt, staged as part of a globe-spanning performance concept with a sleeping Hyoyeon at its center, was the kind of absurdist, committed bit the series had built its reputation on. Sooyoung and Yuri played their roles straight through to the end, acting out arriving at a world-class stage before the curtain finally came down on the whole fictional group.
After the stage, the three sat down with host Park Seulgi for an interview in a variety show format, a fitting callback to the celebrity-world fiction the project had been playing in all along.

Hyoyeon's quiet revelation
Hyoyeon, characteristically, was the comic relief at the party. When the production team brought out photos, her response was immediate: "I really hate this picture." But she also said something more personal: "I discovered more sides of myself here than I ever knew existed."
Sooyoung didn't let that pass without acknowledgment. "You blew up," she told Hyoyeon. Hyoyeon laughed it off: "I blew up because of Hyorisoo."
Yuri kept her composure a little longer, deadpanning that she felt "so relieved" knowing it was finally over. Sooyoung, still wiping her eyes, immediately pivoted to bit mode: "Did the tears come out well? Did you get a good shot? Someone bring tissues." It was the kind of quick tonal shift that made the moment feel real rather than performed, genuine emotion, then genuine laughter, sometimes within the same sentence.
For fans who followed the Hyorisoo project from its early planning stages through to the Music Core performance, the finale wrapped exactly the way it needed to: messy, warm, and a little ridiculous.
