Doyoung and Jungwoo took military leave to attend the closing night of NCT 127's fifth world tour in Seoul on the 20th, walking into the KSPO DOME audience before the show began and drawing an immediate wave of cheers from fans who spotted them in the stands.

Both members are currently fulfilling South Korea's mandatory military service requirement and were unable to participate in the group's broader 10th debut anniversary activities. Their appearance at the final show, then, carried a particular weight: two people making a deliberate effort to show up for their group even while on duty.

A three-night run, entirely sold out

NCT 127's NEO CITY: SEOUL – THE REDLINE ran from the 18th through the 20th at Olympic Park's KSPO DOME (formerly the gymnastics arena), drawing a combined 31,500 fans across all three nights. Every seat sold out, including restricted-view sections, a clean sweep that reinforced the group's consistent ticketing strength heading into the wider world tour leg.

The tour concept builds on the momentum of THE MOMENTUM, the group's previous outing, framing this chapter as the moment a system hits its absolute limit and breaks through. The setlist was structured as a continuous narrative, moving through stages of system error, escape, overload, and a kind of reckoning with manufactured truths before the final sprint. A decade of music and performance packed into one concentrated run.

Also spotted in the audience that night were members of NCT WISH and trainees from SMTR, making the final show feel something like a full family gathering under the SM Entertainment umbrella.

The Ay-Yo moment

Midway through the set, the crowd erupted a second time. During the performance of Ay-Yo, the sections that would have belonged to Doyoung and Jungwoo were filled with video footage of the two members, their parts stitched into the live show in a way that made their absence feel more like a presence. Fans responded with another round of sustained cheering.

Doyoung also marked the occasion with a surprise rice cake (tteok) prepared specifically to celebrate the group's 10th anniversary, a small but characteristically warm gesture on what was already an emotional night. The five members who could perform did so with the full production scale the tour promised; the two who couldn't made sure to be there anyway, one way or another.
