HYNN Is Dropping a New EP and a Summer Concert in August: Here's What to Expect

Singer-songwriter HYNN (Park Hye-won) is making August her own: a new EP arrives on the 13th, and a two-night concert follows just two days later.

Her label, New Order Entertainment, confirmed that Yeoreum-gyeol (roughly "Summer Texture") will drop at 6 p.m. KST on August 13 across major streaming platforms. The EP draws on R&B and a wider genre palette than her previous releases, centering on the layered feelings that come with love and memory. Front and center are a double title track setup, with at least one self-written track in the mix, a clear signal that HYNN is deepening her identity as a songwriter, not just an interpreter.

The musical highlight worth watching will be how the two title tracks sit against each other. Double-title releases can feel like hedge bets, but HYNN's range across registers, from intimate balladry to fuller, rhythm-forward production, makes the format feel like a natural fit rather than a marketing decision.

On August 15 and 16, HYNN heads to Yonsei University's Daekangdang Hall in Seoul's Seodaemun district for her 2026 Summer Concert: Midnight Blue: Luna-rium. The concert's guiding theme is "a secret garden that only opens when moonlight falls", a concept that suits her music's introspective quality well. Setlists will include tracks from Yeoreum-gyeol alongside fan-favorite live performances from her back catalog.

Guest performers add another dimension to the night. Contemporary dancers Yoon Hyuk-jung, Kim Yu-chan, and Park Jin-ho, all known from Mnet's Stage Fighter, will join the stage for modern dance pieces woven into the show. Their presence suggests the concert is being built around theatrical staging rather than a standard song-by-song showcase.
