A fan account for A2O LITE's Rada posted a blunt message on the 23rd: "Wonyoung did nothing wrong." The account that first shared the video of Rada bowing to IVE's Wonyoung was now putting out the fire it had helped start.

The moment came on the 22nd, at Mnet's M Countdown episode 950 at the CJ ENM Center in Sangam-dong, Seoul. Rookie girl group A2O LITE took first place with "NEON." IVE had performed their new song "Looks Can Kill" earlier in the show.

When the win was announced, Rada was standing next to Wonyoung and bowed toward her. Wonyoung looked at Rada, gave a short nod and clapped. A clip cut down to just that exchange spread online, and some users went after her expression and the way she returned the greeting. One called her "too arrogant."

What the full footage shows

The original video undercuts that reading. Wonyoung is looking straight at Rada, moves her head in acknowledgment, then applauds with her hands together to congratulate the junior act. It is hard to say she brushed off the bow when the footage shows her answering it.

Rada's fan account, including some overseas fans, said the same. The account wrote that there was "no reason to spread hate over a simple interaction," that neither member deserved this treatment, and that it would block anyone who kept attacking either of them.

Not her first clip fight

This is a familiar cycle for Wonyoung. In July, a photo of her with folded arms at an amusement park drew criticism. Then came airport immigration footage that seemed to show her taking a passport with one hand. Video from another angle showed her handing it over with both hands, and the story collapsed as a context-free clip.

A January controversy over alleged lateness ended the same way, once it was confirmed she had arrived at the venue early and was waiting. Three rounds, and the pattern is consistent: short clip first, fuller footage later.

IVE releases the mini album Looks Can Kill in full on the 26th, so the group heads into comeback week with this argument still trailing behind it.
