Jimin's 'WHO' crossed 2.5 billion streams on Spotify on July 30, Big Hit Music confirmed on August 1, the highest total any of his solo tracks has ever reached on the platform. The milestone arrived roughly a year after the song's release, and the chart data from that stretch makes the case that its longevity was more than a debut-week spike.

Released in July 2024 as the lead single from his second solo album MUSE, 'WHO' is a hip-hop R&B track built around a contrast of hard-hitting beats and understated acoustic guitar. Thematically, it sits in the space of longing and confusion directed at someone the narrator has never actually met: a mood the production carries with a loose, sensory bounce rather than melodrama.

The commercial run was sustained. On the Billboard Hot 100, 'WHO' peaked at No. 12 (dated August 3, 2024) and held a chart position for 33 weeks. On Spotify's Global 200, it spent two weeks at No. 1 before logging 74 consecutive weeks on the chart. The Global (excluding US) chart was even more durable: also topping at No. 1 for two weeks, then staying on the board for 89 straight weeks. In the UK, the track reached No. 4 on the Official Singles Top 100 and charted for 28 weeks.

The song also topped Spotify's 2024 Wrapped ranking as the most-streamed K-pop track globally for the year, landed at No. 57 on Billboard's 2025 year-end Hot 100, and took home K-Pop Song of the Year at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards.

The 89-week Global (ex-US) run is the number worth circling. Longevity at that scale reflects listener habits outside the organized fandom push that typically front-loads a K-pop single's streaming figures. For a solo release competing without a full group's combined fanbase, it is a meaningful signal about reach.

Jimin and the rest of BTS are currently on their ARIRANG world tour.
