The footage follows her release of 'Less than a Lover' four days earlier, a song she co-wrote and co-produced, and whose music video she also co-directed, shot in the same country.

One moment in particular drew attention: Kai gently stroking Jennie's hair while the two hold a quiet, extended gaze at each other. The overall tone of the video read, to many who watched it, less like a casual travel log and more like something else.
